Why Foxglen

What working with us looks like

Balanced perspective

We look at engagement from multiple angles — your organisation, your stakeholders, and the broader operating context — before shaping any approach.

Respectful methods

Every tool and approach we offer is built around respectful communication — no pressure tactics, no hollow messaging, nothing that treats stakeholders as targets.

Practical deliverables

Sessions produce usable outputs — maps, notes, templates, playbooks — that your team can work with after we've finished, not just insights that stay in the room.

Malaysia-aware context

We understand how stakeholder relationships and communication norms work across Malaysian business contexts — government, private sector, civil society, and community groups.

Sustainable practices

We help you build an engagement rhythm your team can keep up over time — not a one-off exercise, but a steady, manageable practice that grows with your organisation.

Small group focus

We work with a limited number of clients at any one time, which keeps sessions considered and allows us to pay proper attention to each organisation's specific situation.

Start a Conversation

Would it help to talk through where your engagement stands?

A short conversation with our team is a low-key way to explore which offering — if any — might be useful for your organisation right now.

Common Questions

Things people ask us

What exactly does stakeholder engagement advisory involve?
Stakeholder engagement advisory helps your organisation understand who has an interest in your work, what those interests are, and how best to keep those parties appropriately informed and involved. We focus on strategy, process, and communication — not on conducting engagement on your behalf. You leave with a clearer picture and practical tools for doing it yourselves.
Which organisations is Foxglen suited for?
We work with Malaysian-based organisations at different stages — early-stage teams who have never mapped their stakeholders formally, mid-sized companies wanting to strengthen their communication practices, and established organisations building a longer-term engagement function. The right offering depends on where you are, not on how large you are.
How are sessions conducted — in person or online?
We offer both. Sessions can be held at our Kuala Lumpur office, at your premises, or conducted online — depending on what works best for your team. We find that in-person sessions work particularly well for mapping exercises where conversation flows freely, while follow-up or review sessions are often just as productive online.
What does a typical session timeline look like?
The Mapping Session is a single half-day engagement. The Approach Advisory runs across approximately six to eight weeks with four sessions spaced appropriately. The Practice Programme extends over four to five months, with eleven sessions and check-ins between them. We adapt pacing to fit your team's capacity.
How are fees structured and when are they payable?
Fees are fixed per offering — RM 500 for the Mapping Session, RM 2,220 for the Approach Advisory, and RM 4,540 for the Practice Programme. A formal engagement letter is issued before any work begins. Payment terms are discussed during the initial conversation, and instalment arrangements may be available for the longer programmes.
Is the information we share kept confidential?
Yes. Everything discussed in sessions — including details about your stakeholders, your organisation's challenges, and any sensitive relationships — is treated as strictly confidential. We are happy to sign a non-disclosure agreement before commencing, and we do not share client information with other organisations.
How do I know which offering is right for us?
The simplest way is to get in touch for a short introductory call. We'll ask a few questions about your current situation, what you're hoping to address, and any time or resource constraints. From there we can suggest the most appropriate starting point — or honestly tell you that you may not need formal advisory support at all.
